finger food, anyone?

I'm having good time watching Naufal enjoying his "finger food",

Naufal is so fond of sucking all his fingers into his mouth. Sampai lencun baju dgn mulut sebab air liur yang melimpah ruah hahah.. Some people said, "dah nak makan kut". Ayoyo..he's just 4 months plus kut. Im going to try my very best not to introduce him to any solid food before he reaches 6 months. Another 2 months to go!! Chayok mommy brella..chayokkkkkk..

I managed to ask a paed's advice bout this issue. As expected, this paed strongly opposes the idea of giving any kind of food to babies before they reach 6 month old.It is like exposing our babies to allergic. Breast milk is always the best as it contains all the nutrition needed *full stop*

Alhamdulillah, my little hero has turned 4 months this month. He's getting taller too. It's quite funny when some people think Naufal is aready 8 month old! I'm not worried about his growth since he is fully breastfed. My paed also said the same thing about Naufal's growth. So, keep on growing sayang!!

What I want to share for this post is about what happened to Naufal yesterday..

He got sore eyes!! :-(

It was another replacement school day for all teachers. No, I didn't send Naufal to the nursery because hubby is around (note : hubby is no longer a cikgu so no sekolah ganti for him). So, everything went well until twas about 6pm. Hubby noticed Naufal's eye discharge was quite unusual. It was watery and slightly yellowish! During that time, he didn't suspect anything weird as it was probably due to tiredness . When I arrived home at 730pm, I was quite shocked to see Naufal's left eyes turned slightly reddish. After a while, the discharge got stickier and Naufal's eyes became too watery. The first thing crossed my mind was......... SAKIT MATA!! Astaghfirullahalazim.... Dealing with eye sore for adult is quite troublesome, and it is even worse for babies right??! We dared not wait to see what would happen next and immediately decided to go to the nearest clinic to get Naufal's eye checked.

At the clinic, Naufal was given an eye-drop and the condition was said to be ok. Alhamdulillah we acted quite fast as the doctor said the infection was at the early stage and can be cured easily. phewww.  nasib baik :-) On that night, naufal started to get cranky as he felt uncomfortable with the pain..huhuhu. he even screamed on top of his voice when he woke up in the middle of the night with his eye lashes got glued to his eyes. The sticky discharge became harden when he slept. Hubby and I wiped off the discharge from his lashes by using facial cotton and warm water. We put few drops of the eye-drop given as soon as Naufal able to open his eyes comfortably. What another challenging sleepless night!

And today, I'm glad that Naufal's eyes looked a lot better compared to last night. Alhamdulillah.....

My father in law shared some tips on how to deal with eye sore : 

* wipe off the eye discharge with plain water or breast milk while reciting surah Al-Masad . The breast milk also can be applied around the eyes to soothe the pain. (It worked for Naufal too, InsyaAllah). Who would ever thought breast milk helps to cure eye sore kan???

Hectic days

I’ve been quite occupied for the past few weeks with so many things!

Obviously, I'm adapting myself with new things in school after three months of cuti bersalin.

 PBS, HRMIS, Pangkalan Data Murid etc etc. *pengsan*

And adding to that,

..  I’m making my life super busy updating Chic Muslimah Avenue Collection too ;) hehe

While mommy is trying her best to juggle everything at one time, this is what my little hero does best!

Finally, hubby and I decided to purchase a bottle warmer for Naufal.

 Why AUTUMNZ product?

* It fits most bottle and luckily, Phillips bottle too. Or else, I need to spend over RM200 just for a warmer!*pengsan* 
* the price is reasonable. A warmer + an electric sterilizer for RM 169.90
*it can be used for home and car. So it is convenient for travelling too...hurmm ok la kan??

Truthfully, the main reason  I bought this warmer is mainly because of my concern of Naufal's condition in the nursery. This is the least I can do. To ease whatever thing the babysitter has to do when babysitting my son.
I hope it is not going to be a tedious thing to do for them. An electric bottle warmer is definitely a better solution as compared to the conventional way of heating up the bottle (using hot boiled water), hopefully.

At the moment, I'm preparing a checklist for the things Naufal needs for his stay in a nursery. A bottle warmer is definitely one of the things. 

QQ Baby CD. and what's next?

QQ Baby is a cloth diaper brand (CD). Recently I purchased three pieces of QQ Baby CD from Sweet Luna Shop . From this website, you can get different range of CD with different price. It's like one stop CD shop too.

So yesterday,  the parcel arrived. YEAY!!!!!!!!! Frankly speaking, I love the fun and bright designs. Plus, the price is cheap too. I wanted to buy more than three pieces but somehow I realized that I should give it a try first.Of course, I'm planning to get CD from other brands next time..
