15 Feb

Assalamualaikum wbt

It's Thursday and it's still school holidays u'olls !

A super fun day with ummi Fatin and her adorable baby boy, Eusoff~
With the help of my sister, Zetty, I managed to drive all the way from Batu Caves to Seri Kembangan without Naufal getting cranky in the car. Memang terbaiklah Zetty!! Naufal's favourite babysitter gitu hehe...  Luckily, the traffic was clear and smooth too. Alhamdulillah :-)

:-)

Hello!

Have u ever experienced this situation with your kids?

YESSSSSSSSSSS!

Lynn's engaged!

Assalamualaikum wbt

Lynn (or also known as adik) is my bestfriend, Ainna's baby sister. She got engaged on the 10th February 2013. As pretty as her sister, Lynn was looking glowingly gorgeous on her e-day. What make the ceremony more glamorous is the person she got engaged with.

Well, what a pleasant surprise!
the man of her life is Fizz Fairuz, a famous Malay actor.

Selamat bertunang adik!

When there's a will...

...there's a way!

Err, where are you from?

Assalamualaikum wbt

So, how do you spend your CNY hols?
Balik kampung? Going for picnic?

As for us, we became tourists in Kuala Lumpur *grinning*

Many might ask, why KL??
Well. our primary reason for that is... we don't want to be trapped in the the traffic jam, ANYMORE! With a 9 month old baby with us, being stucked in a traffic jam for hours is what we must learn to avoid.

So where did we go?
We checked in at the TRADERS HOTEL, KL.

It was funny when a Canadian tourist asked where we're from while waiting for buggy ride to arrive.

Canadian tourist : Where're you from?
Me: We're from ..KL
Canadian tourist : You're from KL and you stay here?
Me : oh well..yes *with a senyum simpul smile on my face*

Hubby reminded me not to give such answer anymore. He suggested "JB".
kihkihkih...Of course I didn't want to say JB kan...Well nothing to be ashamed of.
I'm a happy 'tourist' travelling in KL with her family. woot woot

upon arrival

with mommy's boy

nyummy mommy hehehe

the Buggy ride : the complimentary ride from the Hotel to KLCC

Check in : Lumut

Assalamualaikum wbt

During previous Thaipusam holidays, we went to Perak to attend a cousin's wedding. It was Mak's idea for everyone of us to stay at Teluk Batik Resort after the kenduri. The last time we went to Teluk Batik was a long time ago that I could not remember when.

What I want to write for this post is not about Teluk Batik but I want to share what I recently discovered about a town named Lumut.

Do you know that Lumut is also famous as a maritime town?
Instead of going to Pulau Pangkor, you can also get ikan bilis bilis mata biru (Mak, 2013) here in Lumut too! hehe yes, ikan bilis mata biru is actually the type of anchovy with high quality. Mak has been telling us about the mata biru anchovy. Do you know how it looks like?

If you look closely at the eyes of the ikan bilis, the colour is crystal blue! no wonder la mak calls this type of anchovy as ikan bilis mata biru! hehehe. The price? mahal sikit dari ikan bilis biasa.

We went to this shop,

It is located at the heart of the town.

Look at what we found and bought here~
beli jangan tak beli mak..

ikan masin oh ikan masin..

Happy nyer dia borong!!!
sleepy atok and naufal :-)

So, next time when u're coming to Perak, don't forget to visit Lumut town too (Oh,i'm not paid for this so-called cuti-cuti Malaysia iklan ;-)  hehe
Check out the ikan bilis mata biru tooooo

Rambutan, anyone?

Assalamualaikum wbt

I overheard a conversation among colleagues, it was about an interesting situation in one of the teachers' classes.

Form 5 student: Who wants rambutan? Only RM 5!!

Teacher : Why are you selling rambutan among your classmates?

Form 5 student: To earn pocket money, teacher!

Teacher: What is it for?

Form 5 student: LCD TV!
*with a smile on his face (a sincere one!)*

LOL!
