QQ Baby CD. and what's next?

Assalamualaikum wbt

QQ Baby is a cloth diaper brand (CD). Recently I purchased three pieces of QQ Baby CD from Sweet Luna Shop . From this website, you can get different range of CD with different price. It's like one stop CD shop too.

So yesterday,  the parcel arrived. YEAY!!!!!!!!! Frankly speaking, I love the fun and bright designs. Plus, the price is cheap too. I wanted to buy more than three pieces but somehow I realized that I should give it a try first.Of course, I'm planning to get CD from other brands next time..

thnk you POS LAJU MALAYSIA for your super efficient service ;)

Baby Bathtub

Assalamualaikum wbt

At the moment, me and hubby are in the midst of searching for a baby bathtub. We have to consider  several crucial factors (size, functions, practicality etc)before purchasing a baby bathtub.

When we went to IKEA, we found quite a huge baby bathtub that costs only RM 19.90. Because of the size, we didn't purchase it straight away because we're wondering how/where it can be kept. Currently,  we're staying with my parents in Gombak. The size of my bathroom is not spacious enough to keep this kind of bathtub.

#the only colour left was white.
Then, we went to  one of the baby boutiques : The First Years at The Curve. There are few types of bathtub available in many sizes/colours and functions. Luckily, the super friendly promoter briefed us about the special features of each bathtub. She introduced to us the foldable baby bathtub that is suitable for travelling and also practical for small space.

# the size is much smaller than IKEA's bathtub.
# it has excellenet safety features
# made of durable material
# foldable (of course!) and can be kept inside or outside the bathroom
Can you guess how much is this?
It's RM 90.00!! it is quite expensive for just a bathtub =(
If i'm not mistaken, we only use the bathtub until the baby reaches 9 months old. So, is it worth buying? Once the baby starts to learn to walk/stand, a baby bathtub is no longer practical, right?
Anyone has better suggestions? Where can we get a similar bathtub with good deals?
Am I being too frugal here? hahah I don't think so ;p

The Curve, "latest" discovery!

Assalamualaikum wbt

All this while, Mutiara Damansara has been one my favourite spots for hang outs, jalan jalan cari makan window shopping, etc. I love the idea of how the big malls (IPC, Ikea, The Curve, Kidzania,Tesco) get interconnected all in the same area! After all, it's only 20-minute drive from Batu Caves with RM1.50 toll charge (LDP).  Yer, bukan nak promote tempat ni la kan, hahaha. I just want to share my so-called 'latest' discovery about this place ;)

Today, I guess I've made the right decision by not going to MidValley for another baby expo! (Yes, recently I already went to a baby expo in KLCC and it was ...so crowded!). Hubby and I couldnt afford for another himpit menghimpit session at the expo so we decided to go to The Curve and Ikea instead.

and guess what?? All this while, we never really bothered about baby shops or boutiques at the Curve. But to our surprise, there are plenty of them at The Curve!

there's Baby Care room too

Dan banyak lagi kedai-kedai baby yang best! price wise? quite reasonable too!
The shops are located next to each other all at the same floor. Senang kan???
Rasa macam kelakar pun ada, selama ni macam mana la tak perasan..hehe.
So, ni la ceritara "Latest" Discovery at The Curve! hahaha

When moms-to-be go shopping

Assalamualaikum wbt

20th Jan 2012 was the last Friday before the 1 week Chinese New Year Holiday and Limah's last day in school before enjoying her 3-month cuti bersalin~ Our main mission on that day was to visit One Baby World in Taman Permata, Kuala Lumpur. The place is like a one stop baby centre. We can get many kinds of baby stuffs all in a place. Limah wanted to do her last minute shopping and I wanted to ..START surveying! Seriously, I was totally clueless of how/when/where to get started!! Hence, the idea of accompanying Limah to the One Baby World store was the perfect time for me to put on my shopping gears- well, not for me, but for my lil one, of course!

getting ready for moms-to-be jalan-jalan
We've arrived safely but.. it's at the 3rd floor *sigh*

worry no more! Nasib baik ade lif.. phew~

kusyuk nyer....
Limah : Nak beli yang mana satu eh? Aviant? Autumz?
Dayah : err...jom tanye promoter kot..hahaha

It was a different kind pleasure to look at baby stuffs. Knowing that you'd need to get them and use them soon truly excites me. As I entered the place, I just followed Limah wherever she went to. She already bought most of the baby stuffs except for things like breast pump, poncho etc.
Shopping has never failed to be one of the best therapy. We managed to get useful info about certain product especially the breast pump : to get the electric pump or the manual one? or, which brand is the best one AVIANT, AUTUMNZ etc? Certainly, it goes back to your personal preference and the budget you have allocated for it.

I bought something...tapi biarlah rahsia dulu buat masa ni ;p

Wajah ceria Limah  after shopping :)

Back in school sound and safe~
Gambar kenangan sebelum Limah kembali selepas 3 bulan cuti bersalin!
Thanks Limah for the great time, tho it was not that long coz we had to rush back to school . Somehow, I managed to get some insights about what/when/where to buy baby stuffs.

To Limah:
Selamat bersalin dan bercuti panjaaaaaaang.
Semoga segalanya dipermudahkan, InsyaAllah.
