I still remembered when many people started to bug question me about Naufal' growth..

*eh, xboleh jalan lagi? dah setahun kan?*  (kalau xboleh lagi apa masalah? :p)

*what? gigi pun sebatang xdok lagi?* (i'm happy coz this boy is still breastfeeding, no teeth yet means yay for mommy laaaa hikhik)

*anak *** dah boleh berjalan/ ada gigi before setahun...* (erk, like I kesah? ;p)

*lambat juga eh..* (lambat aponyo??)

hehehe please ignore some of the comments too, I was having this monologue moment jer.

I dare not say such remarks in front of others kut hahahahah

errrrrrr.... maybe some have forgotten that baby grows at different rate.

So, I know my lil hero is not lagging behind or lambat ke apa.

Seriously, I've been embracing every single second watching him growing in front of my eyes *teary eyes* sob..sob..sob..

Can u guess what happened after our plane from Alor Setar to KL took off?

Naufal vomited.

Ok, not once, but it was THREE times!!
1st time, as the plane lanned.  landed

2nd time, in the ERL on our way to KL sentral

3rd (lastly!), as soon as I stepped out from abah's car, which was in front of our home. 

We were not quite sure why Naufal vomited but then it could probably relate to his empty stomach. He didn't have his dinner yet when we arrived  at the airport because he's been sleeping. Mommy and daddy were busy packing. (ok, it's mommy's fault for being   ignorant forgetful). So the conclusion was Naufal could probably hungry and his stomach was empty too. *kesian* huhuh

When a boy vomited on you, how would you response to it? luckily, I was not panicked especially when hubby was there to save the day too.  Considering that we were travelling on a plane, I knew that I had almost everything prepared in naufal's bag . (Extra napkin, extra shirts and pants for naufal). However, I forgot something else that was equally important...

my own clothes (and tudung too) (-__-)

My pants were wet and my blouse was partially wet too. Actually, I'm used to that kind of situation but having said that the situation was really different when you're using public transport; the ERL.  I could notice other passengers trying to cover their nose. Well, it's a baby's vommit, nothing I can do stop the unpleasant smell from spreading  in the fully air conditioned train. huhuhuhu

I've read so many tips about the Do's and Don'ts when travelling with kids/ babies.
As new parents, I believe we must equip ourselves with essential knowledge especially if  it's

related to children. As the saying goes ' sediakan payung sebelum hujan'!

Babies/ toddlers are unpredictable. Sometimes. we might think that we have prepared ourselves for any unseen circumstances. But still, when things happen we will realize that there are so many things we still need to learn. Most importantly, we must stay calm (or pretend to) especially the unpleasant moment happens in the public eye. 

By the end of the day, I still felt grateful because Naufal was alright. And that does matter for me!
He didn't get cranky or even crying when he vomited. Alhamdulillah.

Alhamdulillah, syukur ke atas segala nikmat yang tidak terhingga.

Semoga Syawal yang tiba membuka lebih banyak pintu kemaafan di samping  mengeratkan tali silaturrahim sesama kita.

Tahun lepas kami sekeluarga beraya di Johor bahru. Tahun ini di Kedah!! Woo hoo.

Nasib baik la dah beli tiket flight awal2 sbb mmg lebuhraya utara-selatan sangat2 'tersumbat' dengan ribuan kereta yang berpusu-pusu nak pulang ke kampung halaman masing-masing.  Bagi yang naik kapal terbang (tak kira la MAS/ MAlindo Air/ Firefly/ Air Asia), boleh dikatakan full house!! Personally, from my observation skrg ni semakin ramai yang memilih pengangkutan udara sbb dapat avoid traffic jam & menjimatkan masa =) Bayangkanlah kalau ada anak kecil tapi tersangkut dalam kesesakan lalulintas untuk berjam-jammmmm lamanya? kesian si kecil.
Tapi sebenarnya, pengalaman balik kampung menaiki kenderaan masing-masing lebih nostalgic sebab feel  balik beraya lebih terasa, Normal la kalau jem kan kalau sesiapa yang duduk area kl ni. So, kalau dh tahu akan bersesak waktu dalam perjalanan, kita kena la bijak rancang perjalanan. Pastikan kereta berada dalam keadaan mantop! (iklan ini tidak ditaja oleh mana2 syarikat yer hihihih)

Seronok bila dapat beraya di kampung belah suami. Since Naufal pun dah boleh berjalan, keadaan dah jadi lebih mudah kalau nak dibandingkan dengan tahun lepas (waktu tu Naufal baru nak masuk 4-5 bulan). Asyik berdukung je anak mommy sorang time tu hihih. Bila si kecil dah dapat kaki, seronok la dia ke ceruk sana ke ceruk sini...fuh mencabar nak main kejar-kejar time2 semua org tgh sibuk beraya :p

Oh hello...SEMENTAS

Assalamualaikum wbt

It's already July?

And that means I've been in Sekolah Menengah Taman Selayang (SEMENTAS) for almost seven months!! Alhamdulillah, I'm slowly adapting and adjusting to the school culture which totally opposite from SEGAR. I begin to feel the sense of belonging in this school too. Kalau awal2 rasa macam loner, rasa macam xde hati betul! hihihi Sampai mcm tu sekali la kan ;p

Tapi, apa-apa pun semuanya berbalik kepada diri kita sendiri. If kita tak habis-habis nak buat comparison sekolah dulu dengan sekolah sekarang memang sampai pencen pun xkan habis. Masing-masing ada kelebihan dan kekurangan masing-masing. 

Apa yang penting? kena sentiasa berfikiran positif! Sentiasa set dalam hati, tidak kira di mana bumi dipijak, di situ langit dijunjung..ecewahhhhhh

Hari guru 2013

Oh, last year I didn't get the chance to celebrate Teacher's Day because I was still in my confinement. Celebrating Teacher's day as a new mom memang lagi awesome la feelingnya. The precious gift from Allah tidak terbeli di mana-mana. So, this year terus celebrate dekat sekolah baru. Syiokkk jugeeeee

the day after teacher's day..terus rasmikan handbag baru and tudung baru...kena la tunjuk kat anak murid kan, nanti dia ingat cikgu tak suka pula hadiah yang diberi :-)

Sports Day

Alkisah, hari sukan sekolah hampir dibatalkan kerana jerebu yang melanda. Bila last minute dimaklumkan hari sukan diteruskan juga sebab cuaca dah beransur pulih, semuaaaaaaaa cikgu jadi lipas kudung! mana taknya, dengan nak cari atlit, latih pasukan sorak, jadi ajk bertugas dan sebagainya. As expected, I was in charged for pasukan sorak. Yang uniknya, pasukan sorak mesti dikalangan pelajar lelaki sahaja. NO GIRLS ALLOWED. Hurm, bagus juga sebenarnya bila dibuat untuk pelajar lelaki sahaja, Mungkin kalau dibuat untuk pelajar perempuan or campuran....ada pula nanti isu-isu berbangkit.

Sebab dah sangat last minute, cikgunya terus blank...huhu nak buat apa untuk pasukan sorak kan..Tiba-tiba idea untuk buat hakka menjelma. Mula-mula ingatkan senang la kalau setakat buat hakka, tp jangkaan ku meleset sama sekali! Siapa kata senang nak buat hakka? Siapa kata senang nak train budak steps and hafal lirik in less than 24 hours??? oh mencabar nyoooooo

Mujur la budak2 ni volunteer....reti tak reti...buat2 jer la reti kan hehehe

Walaupun pasukan sorak rumah hijau tak menang, rumah hijau tetap menang juara keseluruhan. Dengar cerita dah 10 tahun lebih rumah hijau tak pernah jadi juara keseluruhan!! ahaks, rezeki la tahun ni masuk rumah hijau terus champion! yeayyy!

Upin , Ipin & Naufal

Naufal is so into Upin & Ipin. He gets excited when he sees the images of Upin & Ipin. He stops playing with his toy when the Upin & Ipin series is on TV. He even shakes his head and moves his hand when  hears the Upin & Ipin's song too!! LOL!

Watching the series, like a bos bak kate Cu Amal hehehe

Because of that, mommy & daddy decided to bring Naufal to Upin & Ipin restaurant for his 1st birthday. At the moment we stepped into the restaurant, Naufal started to point his finger at every conspicuous Upin & Ipin pictures at the wall (note: the pictures are everywhere, of course!). Birthday boy was as happy as a lark and did not bother to eat his meal! As for the rest of us, we were glad that we have made the right decision to bring Naufal to that place. Most importantly, birthday boy kena la  happy kan?

At the Upin & Ipin restaurant, we had local Malay cuisines such as bihun, mee goreng mamak and ayam goreng. Seriously, I just rate them as average. Nothing special. Like I said before, this is Naufal's birthday celebration, yang penting dia yang kena happy hihihi..

No, the restaurant did not have this cuppy. I ordered this from Kak Farah's friend.

There are many super duper cute Upin & Upin stuffs/ souvenirs  at the restaurant. I felt like grabbing them all!! Luckily, I didn't ;p .We decided to get Naufal this cute little frame.
